I used to be

a receptionist.

Since I was 19, I worked at a hospital (minus ten months) as a receptionist in the ER for 15.5 years.

I'm a mom

I have a three-year-old (mentally ten months old). He had a stroke at two weeks old and has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and other issues. I'm also his caregiver. I have another son who is almost eleven months old.

Poetry

When I was 14, my English teacher read one of my poems and entered me in a national contest for the poem to be printed in a book and it was one out of four poems that got accepted.
